THE FIRST EVER QUEER AND TRANS ONLY RUNNING AND WALKING EVENT IN HACKNEY   THE FIRST EVER QUEER AND TRANS ONLY RUNNING AND WALKING EVENT IN HACKNEY

We did it!

TRANSCEND '24 was beautiful, so much trans and queer joy as far as the eye could see! Thank you to all of you who showed up on the day, walking, running, cheering and dancing your way around the route on Hackney Marshes. We could not have done it without you.

A huge shout out to our MEGA volunteer crew who cheered you along the whole way round and to everyone who helped behind the scenes to bring this event to life.

This inaugural year of the event was just the beginning, we are already working hard on securing funding for the next one, so, if you loved this event and would like to see it happen again please email over any suggestions or feedback for next year. Want more Pecs Drag Kings, more Fancy Shews, more Juno Super? We really want to grow the event so that we can host more queer and trans performers and pay everyone fairly.

You helped raise £2,500 for gender affirming fundraisers!

The money has been sent out to our list of fundraisers, however, the confidential form remains open and it is the first place we will look when we start fundraising again next year, so, please add your fundraiser to the list.

Our trans siblings each received £200 towards their fundraising dreams. We all know that trans healthcare should be free, for now, this is the best way we can support our community. Again we are always open to suggestions on how we can help more.

THANK YOU EVERYONE! SEE YOU AGAIN NEXT YEAR!
